Mr. Femi Coker is the Senior Petroleum Economist of the Petroleum Directorate, Sierra Leone. He joined the Directorate as an Economist in November 2010 and holds a Master’s Degree in Energy Studies, specialising in Oil and Gas Economics from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee (UK). Prior to joining the Directorate, Mr Coker worked in the areas of Health Economics Research, Project Management, Data Analysis and Management with University College London (UCL), in the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in Economic Research, Economic and Financial Analysis, Data Analysis and an excellent knowledge of Fiscal Policy, Commercial and Regulatory issues in the Oil and Gas sector. Mr Coker also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Economics from the University of Westminster (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone (Sierra Leone). He is a member of the International Association of Energy Economics, a Graduate Member (GradEI) of the Energy Institute, (UK) and an Associate (ACMI) of the Chartered Management Institute (UK).
